I Have Seen the kiss That Ripples Out Forever
I have seen the wind
And I have seen the sky that gave it birth.
I have watched it throw across fields and fan the trees
And join with out disturbance the grasses tossing over the lands.
I have watched the land rock still and yet be alive With a glimpse of song that tells the timeless tail of eternity
And our immovable place in it.
I’ve seen a man's kiss bloom in the unborn child of a woman
And grow up to take the pen and send love poems To her own unborn grandsons, daughters and friends
I have witnessed gold rested afternoons, framed with the music of a
Single birds mystic optimism,
That will sing on past all man’s mechanisms of Discord and temporary fear.
The wind can’t be stopped; the sun and clouds can Never cease their Moving, the earth is a bird flying Unimpeded
Beyond all that would still its voice and hope.
Neither does the rising moon give slight notice, to The things that would slow it, the stars come on Despite our fears, while blue atmospheres rest all around their glowing sound.
Where in, surrender is the love that joins them, Binds them, one upon the other like man and wife, Mother to child, child to hopeful hills covered with Grass, cut by the little stream sparkling diamonds Over the rocks, that knows without complaint the Wind that no one can stop, like love that must settle Over all, love the winner always in the end, love the Mother of all things, who comes with the wind and a Promise always kept, saying ….“I will let you have Your way for a while, but in the end of all things There will only be love,
even tho you think love's lost…
I will spring forward on you, like the stars over the night----
And you will sleep safe always under me
in this world or the other”.
